I found these really cool stick-let's online. You use them for building forts. Today we made a teepee. I have to say...they are pretty cool

Graduation
Our little man has graduated from Desert Voices
It was a bittersweet kind of day.
We are excited that he is so advanced and ready to tackle school like his sisters
but sad to see his friends stay behind.
The school created a wonderful graduation for all the 2013 graduates
They made each of the kids a poster with their favorite things and some special messages from their teachers
Bryson's highlights were:
I hope to be a firefighter when I grow up
My favorite sport is Baseball
The family member I talk about the most: Grampa
They had little caps and gowns and walked along the "stage"
The principle, Ms. Linda, handed out diplomas
The 2013 Desert Voices graduates
(the little girl on the right was in Bryson's class, the 3 older girls were in the Kindergarten program and the little boy on the left will be attending a different program next year)
Bryson with his teacher, Ms. Ginger
Sophie has already said she wants to be a teacher like Ginger when she grows up!
My graduate
Bryson with his long time girlfriend, Sophia
Bryson with Zoie..he asks to have sleepovers with her all the time...hmmm
Bryson with his buddy Conrad...he doesn't like to smile at the camera
Bryson with his other buddy Trevor
The proud sisters!
I gave the school staff a farewell card. The outside said "goodbye" in a few languages and on the inside
it said, "In other words, this SUCKS!" That about sums up how we feel leaving Desert Voices.
It's been a great 3 1/2 years and they are forever a part of our story. We love everyone there and will
visit often! Maybe one day Sophie will be a teacher of the deaf at Desert Voices!
Congratulations Class of 2013!

Recital time
Sophie had her recital for ballet last week. As usual, she did amazing! I'm not sure where her rhythm comes from because it's certainly not from me. I look like a robot dancing but Sophie moves so gracefully around the stage, has perfect timing and holds her pose like a professional.
With Sophie starting middle school in the fall, we aren't sure if dance will continue next year. We need to see how she transitions to school and if she can keep up with her grades we will continue dance in the fall. I only have some pre show pictures on my iPhone. Stage pictures will come soon
