Singing the blues

We have discovered that snowball is quite the singer. She has such a nice voice and can learn songs so quickly. When she found out that she had a choir concert coming up, she practiced every day. Her class was going to sing farm yard songs and each child could choose an animal to dress up as. Of course she chose a cow! As I picked her up from school today, she was crying and said she didn't feel good. Oh no!!! Sure enough, sore throat, tummy troubles and a fever. Poor girl was so sad. No concert for snowball tonight. Good thing we have plenty of blankets and strawberry shortcake movies to make for a great night to snuggle
