Paleo

Since I went gluten free about 4 months ago, the whole family has become more aware of what we are eating. One thing we noticed was all the sugar. In an attempt to get the whole family on the same eating plan, we have decided to try the paleo lifestyle of eating. I don't call it a diet because we are not dieting. We are making a lifestyle change for the better. One of the main ingredients that paleo excludes is sugar. The kids are on board with eating better and over spring break, Sophie spent the night at a friends house. The friend asked Sophie if she wanted candy to which Sophie replied no. I was so proud of her but we don't want our kids to go cold turkey on any of the foods they are used to. So our goal is to allow the kids to eat what we have already purchased and slowly transition them away from sugar. After Easter though I think the sugar will be around a little longer than expected
